D2 StoreFront - Application Version History:

An overview of the feature enhancements within D2 StoreFront is shown below. It is recommended that you keep your application version up to date to take advantage of new features and fixes.

If you wish to use all the new features, upgrade to the retail version.

1.19	Product category system and product menu completely overhauled. Menu now displays a deeper choice of categories and parent categories, if selected, will now return products from all child categories up to 6 subcategories deep. New class created SLCats.vb to handle category lookups. Navigation menu now XML driven. Constraints added to database category table to prohibit deletion of parent categories. Note, the updater may reassign some of your products to a different category if your current setup violates any of the new contraints. 1.16	Added Sitemap functionality. Application now automatically generates a Sitemap in Sitemap Protocol 0.9 format to be compatible with Google and other major search engines. Added ability to assign ordering to menu category display Fixed bug where thumbnail of product image 1 was shown instead of large version within modal popup Fixed bug when searching for products by manufacturer Can now upload multiple images simultaneously to product image gallery
1.15	Added ability to create dynamic image galleries to be displayed within a product description. Images are displayed thumbnailed and appear full size via an AJAX modal popup screen when clicked. Modal popup allows customer to cycle through product images. Search functionality rewritten to allow the customer to search using a range of parameters such as manufacturer,price,product rating and number of reviews. Layout of product description page changed to replace tabular layout with div's. Big mail bug fixed where entering an invalid or inaccessible smtp server address could lead to repeated failed attempts to send the message until the browser was closed and fill the error log with failure messages. Thumbnail images within featured products hyperlinked to product description. SLFloral theme added Several other bugfixes/performance enhancements. Version released: 12 August 2008

1.07	First final release version. This version of D2 StoreFront will now be fully updateable to future versions so all users of previous version should install this version. Future updates will no longer need the application and database re-installing and the product is no longer beta.
